Sticker on lid / body:
Individual marking with interchangeable, possibly multi-coloured stickers

Hot stamping on body:
Hot stamping provides a permanent, single-colour and individual marking on the body.

Consecutive numbering on lid: 
Identification for control purposes and possibly filing of containers.

Warning strips:
Marking of containers with fluorescent stickers.
Recommended for containers to be placed in public areas. 
(A legal requirement in some countries)
